Awards Presentation!

Several awards were presented to classmates according to the profile sheets that were returned. They include:

"Stand By Your Woman Man" to Rusty Favor....he married his 3rd grade girlfriend.
"Newlyweds" to Robin Rogers McCarter....she married Darren on August 22, 2009.
"Oldieweds" to Beverly O'Daniel Rose....she married Lawrence on April 7, 1974.
"Dancing With The Stars Wannabe" to Leslie Wayne Sims....he loves to dance!
"Go-Granny-Go!" to Susan Smith Keener....she has 12 grandchildren and one on the way!
"Adam" to Mark Keys....he has been fruitful and multiplied!
"Ida Blankenship" to Molly Trent Smith....she is a bodybuilder! (And looks amazing!)
"Jail Bird" to Kenneth Edwards....he has been in prisons all over TX (with work, of course!)
"Evil Knievel" to Kathleen Grayson....she jumped out of an airplane!
"Smarter Than A Fifth Grader" to Guy Lynn Nelson....he was the Superintendent of the Year in his region for 2009!
"Betty Crocker" to Ramona Skinner McKinney....she has been a Home-Ec Teacher for years!
"U-Haul Truck" to Floyd Nickerson....he has moved across the country 8 times in 15 years!
"Four Leaf Clover" to Melinda Weatherbee Smith....she is still involved in 4-H with her daughter!
"American Idol Wannabe" to Danny Murphy....he is a song writer and guitar player!
"Tiger Wood" to Mark DeArmond....he loves golf, golf, and more golf!
"Mancil Davis" to Ricky Mills....he made a hole in one!
"Mrs. C.H.S." to Sheila Hubanks Timmons....she is the High School Secretary and now runs CHS!
"Most Athletic Old Bobcat" to Gary Lynn Tucker....he still plays football, basketball and runs!

The 35th Reunion is over and hopefully everyone who attended had a great time! We had 38 classmates registered along with many spouses for a total of 63 in attendance. Four of our past teachers from CHS attended the reception given in their honor. It was wonderful to have LaVillas Smith, Donna Hart, Mary Kate Holland and Barbara Waybourn West share a few of their memories about the Class of 1975. A dinner and program concluded a day of visiting and sharing about our lives and memories of our days at CHS. I am already looking forward to seeing even more of our classmates in 2015!

Reunion Agenda!

Main Events will open at 11:00AM on Saturday and lunch will be served from 12:00 until 1:00PM. Lunch is included in the price of your registration. Then the Teacher Reception will be from 2:00 until 4:ooPM. Five of our past teachers will be sharing their thoughts and memories about the Class of 1975 with us.....You will not want to miss this! Main Events will close at 4:ooPM and reopen at 6:30PM. We will conclude the day with a fajita dinner and program. We are going to have a great time together as we remember "The Way We Were!"

Class Photo

Donna Statham (wife of David Statham) will be taking a professional group photograph of our class after dinner Saturday evening. If you are interested, please come prepared to purchase one. A 5X7 picture will be $15.00 and an 8 X 10 picture will be $20.00. Both include the price of postage and she will mail it to you. Donna will accept cash, checks or credit cards.

There is still time! If you have not registered for the reunion and would like to come, please let me hear from you as soon as possible. The picture deadline was May 1st, but the reservations are still open. Please mail your check and form....and please send in your information for the directory, even if you are unable to attend. We're making a movie and we want YOU in it!

Please help us by sharing your old photos for our class video! We want every classmate included so please start looking through your old scrapbooks and albums. We want pictures from first grade through Graduation, but please limit them to only pictures of our classmates. Please label them with your name and include them with your payment and profile sheet. Remember all photos must be in by May 1, 2010 and will not be returned until the reunion. Thanks in advance for your participation!
