The Way We Were!

Do you remember our Class Song...."The Way We Were?" Each time that I have heard it since 1975 it has evoked strong emotions within me as I recounted hearing that song at our graduation ceremony.... and trying to imagine then what it would be like to someday look back and wondering then what all I would really remember! "But it's the laughter, we will remember.... whenever we remember.... the way we were!" Looking back, life was really tough for a lot of our classmates...some dealt with parents who divorced, physical and emotional abuse, moves to and from Childress, break-ups and many other less traumatic situations.... but hopefully we will all remember the laughter.... and heaven knows that our class had more laughter together than probably any other class to ever come thru CHS!!! I'm pretty sure laughter will be a huge part of our reunion.... as we all remember "the way we were!"

Our 35th reunion is coming!

The Childress High School Class of 1975 will be having their 35th Class Reunion on June 5, 2010 in Childress, Texas. Our goal is to have all 73 graduates, as well as many who were in our class but did not graduate with us, present to enjoy a full day of festivities. We hope you will put the date on your calendar and make every effort to be present. It has been 20 years since we had our last reunion and we are anxious to get re-aquainted and re-connected!
